Dylan Cruz's Blog
21. Where has the time gone? It really does seem like it were yesterday when I was fourteen years old, walking the hallways in high school-- not quite prepared for what was to come in the years ahead of me. Time has gone by very fast to say the least. Transitioning into adulthood is a lot to adapt to- so much change takes place in just a span of a couple of years. An immense amount of growth has taken place in the last three and a half years. Birthdays haven't always been my favorite occasion in my life, but I'm learning to enjoy it more each year.
I am extremely grateful that God has allowed me to see another year. His grace and mercy are unfailing- even when I don't deserve it, he still renews it anyway. There is so much I can write about, but would easily lose my point as I'm writing due to me wanting to share a lot in one blog. Lets start here; So as I begin this new season in my journey as a 21 year old, I am creating this blog to share what I have learned in my life with my experiences I've had over the years; job related, interviews, auditions, photography, surrounding yourself with positive people, finding joy when you don't know how, and most importantly- how to let God use you for his glory and to discover what he has called you to do, along with a plethora of other things. This blog isn't intended to be much about advice so much, as it is aimed to share what's on my heart. Hopefully this inspires, motivates, encourages, and shares the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Everything I do, and all that I am, I do it for him because he died for me. This year, as I embark on a new journey, I stand in expectancy for what God is doing, has done, is about to do, and will do in the days, months, and years to come. Turning 21 began with me taping an audition video with my friend for a feature film that is going to be directed by Steven Spielberg. Talk about favor & opportunity! Finding what your passionate about is amazing, however, what is even more satisfying- is when the passion God has placed within you burns for his Glory to be done in your life as you live for him. Stay tuned for my next post that I can't wait to share with all of you! "Desire that your life counts for something great! Long for your life to have eternal significance. Want this! Don't coast through life without a passion." -John Piper, Don't waste your life. © Dylan Cruz. All rights reserved.
